“Fantastic day with Ismael from Zan Archipelago tours. It was a long day but we loved each part to it. Ismael made the day fun and interesting with his knowledge and good humor. The day was paced just right, starting with the spice gram with a very tasty lunch and great information about individual spices and their uses followed by a visit to seethe large tortoises when the place was less busy in the afternoon. The final hour and a half in Stone Town was then at the end of the day and we particularly found the slave museum very interesting but tragic of course. We were a group of 4 adults and this trip is definitely worth the long day.”

“We booked a day trip to prison island and to Nakupenda island (sand bank). We paid extra for a transfer from our hotel near Kendwa Beach to stone town which was $80 including return. The boat took us to both islands. The tour guide at Prison island was very informative and helpful we also got to feed the tortoises. We went on to Nakupenda island which was beautiful ! where they prepared use a beautiful BBQ lunch which tasted incredible and we got to swim and take pictures. Definitely worth the money and was affordable. The staff was very friendly and helpful :)”
